Today March 2nd 2007 I'm happy to announce is Chris last day in the Army :)
Our Iraq pages, along with the yellow ribbon on our home page and on our line of Oaks will remain till all troops are home safe & sound

Chris is back from Iraq
It's been a very long year once again of waiting for word, watching the news, sleepless nights...
Denzil, Christopher's best friend Moria, and myself made the trek from Ohio to Texas greet Chris upon his return to the states
The turmoil ends for some but, continues on for others, keep all our troops in your thoughts and prayers
Leslie and her little brother Matthew tag our van with anticipation of Chris unit's arrival at Ft. Hood later that day

We wait expectantly with signs poised
The troops arrive amidst music, cheers, tears, clapping, and smoke screen. A very emotional moment for all
OUR HERO'S SAFE RETURN

And once again he's lined up in formation directly in front of us!!!
The 2nd photo shows he's spotted us and is attempting not to grin unsuccessfully :)
TROOPS DISMISSED
Our soldiers are released into our arms at at last!!!
First up Leslie, Mom is next but having the camera no photos :) Best friend Moria hops in for her hug shedding tears, Denzil and Chris exchange their heartfelt hug. Chris best friend and comrade Gabe wipes away tears from his wife Dora's eyes. Last photo I don't know the soldier or the child but, just had to include this very special moment. I hope they see it here

Two of the dogs Ivy and Coach made the drive to TX with us. Ivy from our Support Our Troops litter fell in love with her Chris :)
