 OUR NEWS

2006 was a wonderful year for us here at Mirage Cardigans.  Christopher arrived home safely from Iraq, all the kids were able to make it home for Christmas.  Mirage and Promise gave us 9 wonderful pups.  Coach finished his Championship.  Looking foward to what 2007 has in store for us.

We reside on two wooded acres outside Norton, Ohio (near Akron) with one acre currently fenced for the Cardis.

All our dogs are house dogs first, though not always at the same time.  A few just happen to show and do agility with Mom as well.   I've found quickly that Cardigans suit us so well, we were destined to be owned by several.   We began with Reej in early 2000 and have since added Onyx, Mirage, Promise, Coach and now our first homegrown, Ivy.  The fact that I am owned mainly by Black & Whites and Blue Merles is mere coincidence.  I truly believe first in temperament and structure, color being merely the icing on the cake.  Cardis do shed ALOT, they are extremely addictive and extraordinarily entertaining.  Nothing better than a cuddly Cardi (or two) before a roaring fire on a cold Ohio winter's eve.

Each dog has their own page, along with pages featuring our human family.  Son Chris, daughter Jillian, and youngest son Adam.  I love taking pictures so update fairly often.

Please check out our Iraq Pix  page dedicated to my eldest son Chris recently returned to Iraq for his second tour of duty there.  This page is meant to honor not just our Chris but, all Brave Soldiers serving our country at home and abroad, and will remain in place till all our Troops return home.
